Herimone might have been a goody two shoes, but Emma Watson isn't quite as good at being a perfect little angel in real-life.

The Harry Potter actress is in hot water with UK Immigration Services after her maid was stopped at the border for questioning and dished some damning details about her famous employer.

The Home Office is probing whether Watson’s maid was working illegally at the star’s £2m north London home after the housekeeper revealed she only had a tourist visa during a border check. According to UK law, this means that she is not eligible to work at all during her stay in the country.

The maid, who had previously been working at Emma Watson's New York home, allegedly made trips to London and was paid to help out at the star’s Georgian terraced house in Islington.

Employers who breach the rules by hiring foreign staff illegally can face a fine of up to £10,000.

The Daily Mail asked a source at the Home Office to verify the claims, but they were rather tight lipped about the whole affair. They released a statement saying;

An allegation has been received and processed and has been allocated for further action
