There are few better things on Earth than being on vacation.

The sun. The sea. The sand. The getting away from it all. Catching up on your reading. Spending some much deserved time with - or away from - your loved ones. All things considered, it's about as good a time as could ever be imagined.

That is, until now.

Once again, the Guardians of the Galaxy have swooped in, and in one fell swoop, all of our plans for a great time hanging out on the beach have been completely ruined?

How, you ask? It's...probably better if you see for yourself:

Now, y'see, this is why we can't have nice things. We start to love a franchise, and then even before it gets released in cinemas, it cruelly goes and ruins our whole summer by showing us all the incredible things we could be seeing - if only we were an intergalactic raccoon.

Oh well, we'll just have to wait for that new Marvel movie coming out in August - that'll make up for all the emotional angst. What's it called again? Guardians of the...

Oh, right.

For crying out loud, Marvel. Why must you constantly release films that look so good. You couldn't give us one summer off?

[Guardians of the Galaxy](movie:424073) is heading our way August 1, 2014. Which is still way too long away.
