Radcliffe and co. might be instantly recognizable and always in the public eye, but what about the rest of the Hogwarts alumni?
After writing my article on what our favorite Gryffindor trio have been up to since graduating from wizarding school, I got thinking about the Neville Longbottoms and Luna Lovegoods in the pack.
We haven't heard from most of them in years, so lets have a sneak peek how they are getting on in the real-world and swot up on any projects they've been involved with that could cast a spell on us all over again;
Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton)
Age Now: 26 (D.O.B 22 September 1987)
Slytherin's poster boy might still be blonde, but he's a hell of a lot less devious looking!
After years of cheering for the dark side and unsuccessfully trying to foil Potters heroics, Felton seems to be destined to play mostly dark characters, despite his angelic platinum locks.
Notable Projects: Tom Felton's most high profile role since lording it up over Hogwarts is probably as Dodge Landon in Rise of Planet of the Apes. He also plays racist snob James Ashford in [Belle](movie:625442) .
Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis)
Age Now: 25 (D.O.B- June 27, 1989)
You know that ratty kid with a mullet in your elementary school who grew up to be a studly Adonis? That, my friends, is Neville Longbottom!
Matthew Lewis's hotness might have been slow to germinate, but he got there in the end when he somehow managed to grow into those superbly British teeth!
Notable Projects: Want to see a bit more of Lewis now he has matured into a deliciously quaffable vintage? No problem! Matthew has strutted his stuff in The Rise, a British movie about a young man recently released from prison who recruits his three best friends to rob the local drug kingpin to avenge his incarceration.
Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch)
Age Now: 22 (D.O.B 16 August, 1991)
My favourite Harry Potter character Luna Lovegood (I think I might be a bit in love with her) is still only 22-years-old but she has branched out into modelling to supplement her acting career due to her strikingly unusual looks.
This little brain box is not just good looks, though - Evanna Lynch studied speculative fiction and drama at an Irish summer school for exceptionally gifted teens when she was just 16-years-old.
Notable Projects: Since graduating from Hogwarts Lynch starred in the American independent teen drama G.B.F. (Gay Best Friend) as the uber-conservative McKenzie who tries to persuade the main character that homosexuality is a sin. A long way from the peace and dreamy positivity of out beloved Luna!
Dudley Dursley (Harry Melling)
Age Now: 25 (D.O.B 17 March 1989)
He might be a foot or so taller, but there is still a lot less of Harry Melling these days!
The actor who played obese, obnoxious brat Dudley Dursley lost so much weight between Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 that he was almost re-cast for being 'unrecognizable'. Despite almost losing his role, Melling was obviously positive about the change. He explained to the press that
I can now shed the child actor thing, like the fat, and start a new career, because no one sees me as Dudley
Notable Projects: Melling hasn't appeared in any feature films since his Harry Potter days, but he has had a few television appearances and theater rows. If you want to glimpse his new slimmed down self, your best bet is Garrow's Law, a British period courtroom drama. Sounds like a thriller...
Oliver Wood (Sean Biggerstaff)
Age Now: 31 (D.O.B- March 15, 1983)
The captain of the Quidditch team was naturally a looker in the Harry Potter movies, but Sean Biggerstaff has gone on to become a bit of a sex symbol.
The Scottish actor has gone down a more serious career path since he cast his broom aside: you are most likely to see a flash of his beauteous face in Indie flicks or serious period pieces these days.
I guess when you consider his long rousing speeches as Oliver Wood, it's not really surprising!
Notable Projects: Being quite a lot older than most of his co-stars, Biggerstaff's biggest roles have been before the end of Harry Potter. He stars as an aspiring artist who is forced to work in a supermarket after a devastating break up in the UK indie flick Cashback and his most recent role is in the period drama Mary Queen of Scots.
Cho Chan (Katie Leung)
Age Now: 26 (D.O.B- 8 August 1987)
The recipient of Harry Potter's famous on-screen smooch might be 26-years-old now, but she could still easily play a teenager!
Katie Leung hasn't let the trappings of fame get to her. Although she completed an art degree at London's prestigious University of the Arts, Leung still lives in the small Scottish town of Motherwell where she was born.
Notable Projects: Leung has mainly worked on the stage in productions such as Wild Swans, but if you want to see her on TV you will have to search out some British broadcasts. Leung's most notable television role is in the mini series Run, where she plays an illegal Chinese immigrant who sells pirate DVDs to survive.
