Transformers: Age of Extinction has been ripped and torn apart by critics and many fans alike, but we must pose the question, is it really justified? In short, probably. But is it as bad as they say it is? We'd argue probably not. It's funny how Michael Bay fixed all of the "major" complaints that most people had about Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon, yet people still seem eager to find and nitpick the heck out Michael Bay's latest in the franchise.

Shia LaBeouf is gone, no racist robots and most of Bay's dumb humor is gone, yet that doesn't seem to be good enough for most people. That being said, the films still has it's fair share of issues and is 30 minutes too long. There haven't been too many people out there to defend Age of Extinction, but on Episode 71 of the InSession Film Podcast, we had an all out battle over the film (and the franchise in general). This episode is the most polarizing we've probably ever had, however most people whose seen the film will probably lean heavily in one direction. However, it's still worth taking a listen to.

Despite all of the "Michael Bay-isms" the films had some great action sequences and seeing Optimus Prime motivated and passionate was a lot of fun, right? Let us know what you think!
