In 2012, indie director Scott Schirmer directed a film based on a novel by Todd Rigney. The movie, Found, focused on a little boy obsessed with horror films, and his brother, a budding serial killer. Nested within Found was a short slasher film called Headless, about a skull-faced serial killer working through some pretty intense demons of his own. Now, directed by Arthur Cullipher, Headless is expanding to a full-length slasher film, produced by Schirmer!

The makers of Headless have launched a Kickstarter page to get the film up and running! So if you want to be a part of the next stab at an iconic slasher, this is your chance. From the Kickstarter page...

We're approaching Headless as though it were an actual artifact from the late 1970s -- gritty, grainy, retro, excessive, vile, balls-to-the-wall, and POSITIVELY NO CGI. Something so heinous, it was buried in darkness and only recently has seen the light. It's going to be a nightmarish fever dream of a slasher flick: by horror fans, for horror fans. And not for the faint of heart. We may never get wide distribution for this movie because, folks, we're not holding back. This one is going there.

So what do you think? Are you on board with Headless?
