There were a lot of things to love about 2012's The Avengers. The heroes. The teamwork. The Coulson. The shawarma. The Puny God.

Some things, though, were even more lovable than others.

Case in point: Tony Stark and Bruce Banner's 'Science Bros' bromance. Having spawned memes, fan fiction and widespread cultural infusion, the duo's relationship has proven to be one of the movie's most enduring features.

The good news? According to Mark Ruffalo, there's plenty more where that came from. Speaking to Total Film, the actor revealed a few details about Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Hulk's part in the film, and - most excitingly - the return of the Science Bros:

"It’s, oddly enough, a much bigger movie than Avengers 1 was. It’s a little bit darker. It’s…we get a lot deeper into the character now, since we established them in the first one, so we get to cover a lot more ground. Ultron’s incredible. There’s more stuff with Banner and Tony Stark, more “Science Bros” stuff. And it’s pretty sweeping, it’s pretty epic."

Which all sounds awesome - predictably.

The bad news?

We still have to wait until May 1, 2015 for [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) to hit our screens...
