Behold! Our first look at an animatronic Velociraptor to be used in Colin Trevorrow's hotly anticipated Jurassic World!

An Instagram user posted this image with the tag:

This is an actual Velociraptor for the upcoming film Jurassic World!

Appearing to be a cross between the Raptors seen in Jurassic Park and The Lost World, the creature appears to be inside a warehouse, perhaps near where the film is currently being shot in New Orleans, or at the location where it was built before moving to the set.

Take note to of the muzzle the Raptor is wearing. Perhaps this has something to do with the story of Jurassic World, or perhaps this is something used to ensure the fragile animatronic animal makes it safely to the set during transportation.

Now, at first, it was thought that this could very well be an, albeit elaborate, hoax. After all, security has been super tight around production of the film, so what are the odds something this awesome would simply show up online? However, sources have revealed that this is indeed our first look at one of the dinosaurs that will inhabit Jurassic World!

Exciting, indeed! The animatronic Raptor looks amazingly life-like and we, being the HUGE Jurassic Park fans we are, can't wait to see this guy in action on the big screen! Hold on to your butts, JP fans, it's going to be a wild ride!
