Pope Francis just keeps on keeping it real over in Vatican City. He speaks of the devil frequently and has even been observed placing his hands on the head of a possessed man. The man was believed to be possessed by four demons, but received relief after Pope Francis said a prayer of liberation. Now, Pope Francis has gone a step further by formally recognizing the International Association of Exorcists. The group consists of 250 priests in 30 different countries and they are all dedicated to liberating people from their demons.

L'Osservatore Romano, the Vatican's newspaper, has reported that the Vatican's Congregation for Clergy approved the organization's statutes and the group is now recognized under canon law.

Rev. Francesco Bamonte, head of the International Association of Exorcists, has declared the approval a cause for joy by telling the L'Osservatore that "Exorcism is a form of charity that benefits those who suffer."
