In association with DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, Martin Firrell (“One of London’s most influential public artists” The Guardian) has created IT ENDS HERE, a new public art exhibition which will be presented free of charge in The Vaults beneath Waterloo Station from 10 – 12 July.

Consistent with Firrell’s work to date (he has created large-scale light projections on some of London’s most iconic buildings including St Paul’s Cathedral and The National Gallery), IT ENDS HERE is a text-based project, suggesting a viable strategy for living peacefully that can be applied to anyone’s daily life. Firrell, whose work has been described as ‘art as debate’, has created five different underground environments, each dominated by a word or phrase: words stand tall as a man in pitch-blackness; the underground spaces rumble with ‘found sound’. Visitors are given torches to explore and discover texts.

To celebrate the collaboration, Twentieth Century Fox has released a 60" time lapse video which teases the new public art exhibition.
