If you're going to make a fake fan trailer for Batman Vs. Superman, then this is definitely the way you do it.

We've already seen quite a few fan made trailers, most of which feature recut footage from Man of Steel and a series of Ben Affleck movies, however this new "leaked" [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) trailer does things a bit differently.

Firstly, the footage has been taken from a variety of sources and turned into something original - in particular it appears to be based on fan art we've previously seen. Secondly, the video is made in a bootleg style which suggests it was illicitly captured and then leaked from a San Diego Comic-Con presentation.

Unfortunately, this is all just clever video editing, although that doesn't stop the teaser trailer from being rather impressive - and clocking up over 200,000 views. Check it out below:

However, as I suggested above, this certainly isn't the first fan-made trailer for Batman v. Superman, and although this new "leaked" one does show perhaps more flair in video editing, the others do artfully combine Cavill and Affleck in their other roles.

Take a look at some of the best below:

Batman and Superman smash up a city in this fan trailer also starring Joaquin Phoenix as Lex Luthor

Bruce Wayne uncovers Clark Kent

Supes and Bats team up to take down a cocky Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor

Meanwhile, CollegeHumor and Pete Holmes have also provided us with what a scene from the R-Rated version of Batman v. Superman could look like. Check that below:

Unfortunately, we might have to wait a bit longer for the actual Batman v. Superman trailer. As far as we know, Warner Bros. are not officially presenting the Man of Steel sequel at the San Diego Comic-Con, although I'm sure we'll still receive some Batman v. Superman scoops from the Con.

Regardless of its illegitimacy, do you think this fake trailer captures the right tone for Batman v. Superman?
