The woman who has been nicknamed 'Hurricane Heigl' is being difficult again... by insisting that, in her humble opinion, she is just being real.
Although rumors of her highly-strung and explosive temperament have led high profile studio executives to publicly state that;
I don’t know what her value is anymore. She’s uh, less than easy to work with.
Heigl herself, naturally, disagrees.
When questioned by an exceptionally brave person during the Television Critics Association's summer press tour about her (and her 'mom-ager's) bad behavior, Heigl replied that;
I can't really speak to that. I can only say that I certainly don't see myself as being difficult. I would never intend to be difficult. I don't think my mother sees herself as being difficult. We always … I think it's important to everybody to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully and kindly. If I've ever disappointed somebody, it was never intentional.
I'm sorry Heigl, but I can never take anything you say seriously after you gnawed the hand that made your career right off like a bratty little lapdog!
If I haven't forgotten the time you turned down an Emmy nomination for Grey's Anatomy with the bitchiest back hand that I have ever read, then I doubt anyone else has either!
If you need reminding, her it is in all it's glory;
I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination and in an effort to maintain the integrity of the academy organization, I withdrew my name from contention. In addition, I did not want to potentially take away an opportunity from an actress who was given such materials.
I think I would rather be the Smith children's babysitter than work with Heigl, and that's saying something!
Working with Katherine Heigl sounds...
