Since Rob Zombie debunked rumors about his mysterious film 31, denying both that it has nothing to do with his previous directorial efforts, and no relevance to the uber popular character Captain Spaulding, fans have been itching for more specifics. Rob still hasn't let much slip about what to expect from his upcoming horror project other than the fact that it takes place on Halloween, hence the title, 31.

However, just recently Rob has commented about 31, and even revealed an original piece of concept art.

"Lots of news on my next film 31 will be coming your way very soon. But until then I thought I share with you one of many awesome production drawings from the film courtesy of Alex Horley."
"It’s not based on anything. I’ll start shooting the movie in the fall. So hopefully starting from October, I’ll start shooting it. For right now I’m going to keep the details secret. But it’s not based on anything. There’s a clown thing in the movie, but it has nothing to do with Captain Spaulding, and what is in the movie doesn’t look like Captain Spaulding either; maybe the people think the poster does, but the movie won’t."

Judging by the sketch shown, it looks to me as though this may be about a group of gangbangers who wear skeletal costumes and travel by van, and are more than likely psychopaths and murderers. We're not given much by the concept art, and it's really all subjective. So, let the rumors and theories begin!
