I want to first establish that this list is purely my opinion only and based on how I looked about the films. So now let's get started!

6.) Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

To me, this movie was awful. Hayden Christensen was awful, and the actual telling of Anakin's turn to the Dark-Side was ruined by this acting. It showed the transformation terribly and was just a complete mess. On the upside, Ewan's McGregor's performance as Obi-Wan Kenobi was the biggest upside of the film. There are a few good things about this film, like the Battle of Kashyyyk, the Wookiee planet and Obi-Wan chasing General Grievous on a giant lizard. Other than that, this film was absolutely atrocious, making it the worst of the 6.

5.) Episode I: The Phantom Menace

I know this film was pretty bad, but it was better than III. Seeing Darth Maul and Liam Neeson's Qui-Gon Jin fight was pretty cool to see. Although having Jabba the Hut, young Anakin, and Jar-Jar Binks was a big downside. Although, Obi-Wan, Padawan or not, was a big upside to the film, making it the middle child of the prequels.

4.) Episode II: Attack of the Clones

To me, this film was actually really good. Besides Hayden Christensen's atrocious and bland acting, there were a ton of great aspects of this film. Jango Fett and Obi-Wan's fight on Kamino, the big Clone V Jedi battle, seeing the fantastic Plo Koon and Kit Fisto who are two of my favorite Jedi, and my other favorite feature being the Clonetroopers and Jango Fett played by Temuera Morrison. All in all, I think this is the best film of the prequels, which is saying a lot considering the prequels, for the most part, suck.

3.) Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

This film was pretty good, as were all the movies of the original trilogy, but this falls short in some aspects where the other two don't. Don't get me wrong I liked the Battle of Endor and Rancor and the Sarlacc Pit and everything but it didn't compare to the other 2.

2.) Episode IV: A New Hope

The original Star Wars! Everyone was mesmerized by this amazing story no one had seen on the big screen before. The Death Star, the Trash Compactor, the Millennium Falcon, and The Force. It was awesome and memorable and you can't argue that this was great and deserves second place.

1.) Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

Is an explanation even necessary?! First off, "I am your father!" which is basically the biggest cinematic reveal of all time, and it certainly beats what M. Night Shyamalan gives us. This movie gives us Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian, Yoda and a whole lot more. Empire is the best Star Wars film because all of the aspects of this film are all pretty perfect and all together, it makes one hell of a film!
