John Green's insanely successful novel, The Fault In Our Stars, finally got its big screen moment in June, when stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort shared some serious intimacy in the form of emotional hospital scenes and dramatic slow-motion shots.

Hardly surprising, then, that fans of the romance genre were quick to support the teenage cancer survivor tale. And if the movie wasn't enough for you, then you now have another reason to get excited: details are slowly emerging about DVD and Blu-ray editions, including news about the flick's extended cut.

Bluray is reporting that the movie will be available to take home on Tuesday, September 16 and director Josh Boone is working on an extended version of the film which includes a deleted John Green cameo. No details about the other five scenes have been shared, but if they're in-keeping with the movie's tone, they're bound to hit us right in the feels!

I am so prepared to cry my eyes out when I see the extended version. What about you, kids?
