The river of [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) information keeps coming in. New information been released about the three non-Ultron antagonist: Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and the Vision.

In an interview with director Joss Whedon, he was asked about the roles of [Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch](movie:1081109) in the plot.

“They’re on Team Ultron, which makes things really hard for the Avengers because all of sudden they’re dealing with powers that they’re not used to,”

He continued by saying:

“With the [first] Avengers, everybody pretty much had the power of being able to punch somebody. And now we have a woman who can get inside your head and move objects, and a boy that can move faster than anything, and a robot [Ultron] who can self-replicate and is out of his mind. So all of sudden, it’s a darker, weirder, tougher world that they’re living in.”

As for the Vision, Whedon won’t say too much, except that J.A.R.V.I.S. voice actor Paul Bettany’s casting is “not coincidence.” Robert Downey Jr., who’s had Bettany’s voice ringing in his Iron Man helmet over the course of four Marvel movies, was a bit more forthcoming on the actor’s turn as the Vision.

“It’s like if you think about the five different ways that [The Vision] could come together, this one’s definitely the most interesting of the five. I was running other scenarios and I’ve seen it progress over drafts. It was just kind of really good, right from the start.”

How important will the twins be to the plot?
