Dolls, I've never liked them. For some reason they have always creeped the stuffing out of me. You name it: Raggedy Ann, Barbie or any other seemingly innocent porcelain or plastic baby doll gives me the heebie jeebies. Maybe it's because of that Talky Tina doll I saw on a Twilight Zone rerun, maybe it was the Voodoo doll my little brother made of me, I don't know. I've always just thought they were lifeless vessels, waiting to steal my soul so they could do evil deeds and then blame me. I'm not sure why these little instruments of the devil would give me such night terrors. Now I see Annabelle from [The Conjuring](movie:600664) has her own movie coming out and all these traumatic toys are haunting me again. I know it's not really rational but these films didn't help. So here are some movies that show the devil isn't in the details it's in the dolls!

Let's just start with Talky Tina

Then of course there's the Trilogy of Terror. It has the Queen of Scream, Karen Black playing with her Zuni fetish doll. It doesn't look like fun.

Puppets are just dolls that are made that much more creepy because they move and talk. Sometimes like Blade they even kill for their Puppet Master.

There have been lots of scary stories about ventriloquist dummies too. Yes they are just another kind of evil doll. If you don't believe me just ask Mary Shaw but - “Beware the stare of Mary Shaw. She had no children, only dolls. And if you see her, do not scream, or she’ll rip your tongue out at the seam.” - Billy from Dead Silence is one of the creepiest.

Poltergeist. This one has two strikes it's a doll and an evil clown! Need I say more?

Oh Billy! As if Jigsaw's puzzles weren't bad enough. This one can ride a tricycle.

Then there is that foul mouthed little psycho killer Chucky.

Now [Annabelle](movie:1217914)?

I know there are more so I included this lovely killer doll tribute I found. If I didn't include your favorite please tell in the comments!
