We've quoted the film.

We've worn the Halloween costume.

We've seen the film waaaaay too many times on VHS, DVD (and, lets be honest, Blu Ray)

But there's one thing we haven't been able to do - and that's play with our favorite characters from possibly the greatest movie of all time, The Princess Bride, in indisputably the greatest toy format known to humanity: LEGO.

Until now:

Meet the work of nine artists at Brickworld Chicago, and their Princess Bride Collaboration:

(And yes, before you ask yourself, this is definitely one of the greatest things that has ever happened. Right up there with all five of those great kisses...)

First up...

The Shreeking Eels:

The Duel:

The Battle of Strength:

The Battle of Wits:

The Fire Swamp:

The Pit of Despair:

The Bedroom:

Miracle Max:

The Castle Assault:

And, my personal favorite - You Warthog Faced Buffoon...

There is no way I wouldn't have found some way to buy every single one of those when I was a kid...

In fact, the only reason I'm not on my way to buy them now is that they aren't for sale...

Dangnamnit it.

What do you guys think? Awesome, or inconceivabl(y) bad?
