We've been pretty fortunate of late when it comes to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice news. There's been a whole lot more in the way of awesome costume first looks than disappointing injury news (we're looking at you, Harrison Ford). Plus, with Comic-Con on the very immediate horizon, we're likely to be on the receiving end of even more (hopefully Wonder Woman costume-shaped) DC awesomeness very, very soon.
Sometimes, though, bright clouds come with a dark, painful lining.
In this case, one seemingly designed especially for Ben Affleck.
Remember that Batsuit? Y'know, the one that was everywhere a few weeks back?
Yeah, as it turns out, that's not so comfortable. As in, Batfleck can barely breathe in it kind of not comfortable...
According to reports leaked by the The Daily Star, an insider has reported that Affleck has been dealing with some pretty serious Batsuit-related problems - which, when put together, sound pretty darned unpleasant:
“The suit is extremely restrictive. Ben finds it hard to perform basic tasks and struggles to look natural.
“He’s also been complaining of problems with breathing, given how tight the suit is.”
“He’s constantly trying to avoid going to the toilet because it’s such an ordeal.
“The entire production has to stop and begin the tedious process of peeling the suit on and off. It’s not an ideal situation.”
Which, in fairness, makes a lot of sense. Take a look at that suit - it doesn't look like it so much breathes, as wheezes unsuccessfully.
Something that doesn't seem like it'll be as much of a problem for a certain other superheroic someone...
No matter what though - lets all hope that these problems, if true, aren't going to impact on the film too heavily - since, let's be honest, no-one wants to see Batman limp around the screen with a hacking cough and a bad attitude...
Actually, wait a minute.
Yeah we do.
Nicely played, Mr Snyder. Nicely Played...
[Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) is set for release May 6, 2016. Hopefully without Ben Affleck's bladder breaking in the meantime...
