Funny and charming comedy who’s strengths are in the chemistry.

**Will Contain Spoilers**

The premise of sex tape revolves around a married couple that lost it’s sex drive and during one free night they decide to celebrate by doing all the positions in a sex book while video taping each other, this video went into the cloud that was shared with multiple ipads and there begins the quest to find all the ipads.

Story wise the movie is not that strong, the issue could have been fixed in the first five minutes of realizing what had happened. There are a lot of random moments and another couple that joins them for part of the movie, there is also a unknown person texting them regarding the video. Not much that they could have done to fix these issues, maybe made it a bit more realistic, but don’t really know how.

The strength of the movie lays with the great chemistry between Cameron and Jason, they know how to bounce things off of each other and their work together makes even silly jokes work. There is this whole scene with Cameron Diaz high on cocaine and it’s hilarious, so there are great moments on their own but the movie is better when the two leads are in screen.

All in all Sex Tape wasn’t a disappointing but it also wasn’t great, with some good laughs the movie for me gets a 5.5/10.
