Hands down, the Harry Potter book series is my favorite thing of all time. But what about the kids who brought Harry Potter to life?

Where are they now? The answers might surprise you...

Daniel Radcliffe - Harry Potter

Since Harry Potter ended Daniel Radcliffe has undertaken a number of new projects, most notably the TV show A Young Doctor's Notebook where he starred alongside Jon Hamm. He will also star in the remake of Frankenstein which is due to be released in 2015.

Emma Watson - Hermione Granger

In a twist of life imitating art Emma Watson - much like her character Hermione Granger - went on to earn her Bachelors degree in English literature, graduating from Brown University in May 2014.

She has also starred in a number of films such as The Bling Ring and Regression. Oh, and I'm guessing you didn't miss all that modelling...

Rupert Grint - Ron Weasley

After playing the youngest brother Ron Weasley, Rupert Grint has gone on to star alongside Evan Rachel Wood and Shia LaBoeuf in the film Charlie Countryman. He also reunited with Harry Potter actor Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) in the movie CBGB.

James and Oliver Phelps aka Fred and George Weasley

Everyone's favorite red-haired twins made people laugh and cry during the Harry Potter series. These days both brothers are still acting; older twin Oliver stared as the main character in short film Ears while James appeared in The Turn. But never fear - the two have paired up again to appear onscreen together in upcoming comedy Own Worst Enemy.

Bonnie Wright - Ginny Weasley

After playing the youngest of the Weasley clan who became the envy of every girl when she won Harry's heart, Bonnie Wright has continued acting in such films as Before I Sleep and sci-fi drama After the Dark. She has recently been confirmed to play the role of Hannah in upcoming comedy film All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen.

Matthew Lewis - Neville Longbottom

Since playing the bumbling but loveable Neville Longbottom, Matthew Lewis kept himself very busy with a steady string of TV shows Bluestone 42 and The Syndicate. Lewis will also play Branwell Bronte in the much anticipated 2016 film The Brontes.

Robert Pattinson - Cedric Diggory

Well, this one's kinda obvious! After appearing in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Robert Pattinson has continued to rise and rise. He most famously played Edward Cullen in the Twilight series from 2008 until 2012. Recently he was in Map to the Stars and The Rover.

Evanna Lynch - Luna Lovegood

After becoming a fan favorite as Luna Lovegood, Evanna Lunch has stared in both movie and TV shows. She appeared in 2013's G.B.F alongside the likes of Megan Mullally and Natasha Lyonne. She also starred in the soon-to-be released film Dynamite: A Cautionary Tale.

Tom Felton - Draco Malfoy

Since staring as one of the most loved/loathed characters in the franchise, Tom Felton has had a booming career! He was in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and TV series Murder in the First.

Felton will soon appear on the silver screen again in the World War II film Ghosts of the Pacific and is currently working on Fangs of War where he will work alongside Christopher Walken.

Josh Herdman - Gregory Goyle

Goyle seems to have broken free from Malfoy's grasp and has been busy with work since Harry Potter ended. He has starred in two TV series: Coming Up and Wizards vs. Aliens. He also played Simon in the 2013 film Common People and will appear in upcoming drama Wasted.

Alfie Enoch - Dean Thomas

Since his Harry Potter days Alfie Enoch has had steady work in front of the camera, mostly on TV series. He has appeared in acclaimed series such as Broadchurch and Sherlock. He is currently filming the series How to Get Away with Murder which also stars Tony Award winning actress Viola Davis.

Katie Leung - Cho Chang

After starring as Cho Chang, Katie Leung has continued acting. She appeared in the TV mini-series Run and the soon to be released One Child. She also appeared in one episode of the TV series Father Brown.

Harry Melling - Dudley Dursley

After making his mark as Harry Potters annoying, bully cousin Dudley, Harry Melling has moved onto other things. He has made many appearances in TV shows starting with Merlin in 2010. More recently he played the title role in the 2013 TV movie Joe Mistry.
