No one likes sandworms. Beetlejuice, the Harkonnens, Kevin Bacon...and if Kevin Bacon doesn't like something, that's saying a lot.

Rumors of a Tremors reboot have been around for quite some time. While filming in Bosnia, Don Michael Paul (Lake Placid: The Final Chapter) took to his blog to drop a sandworm sized chunk of news:

After I finish up “Company Of Heroes: The Fourth Reich” I will be headed to Johannesburg, South Africa to reboot the “Tremors” franchise for Universal.

Now, while neither his current project Company of Heroes, NOR the Tremors reboot are listed on his IMDb profile, Don Michael Paul's track record isn't really inspiring me to be excited about the potential of this reboot...but then again, maybe it's just the photo of him filming with a GoPro that is making me nervous.

I dunno, Universal...
I dunno, Universal...

But hey, you never know, right?
