Although the San Diego Comic-Con might have been taken over by more mainstream blockbusters in recent years, there's still space for those blockbusters to crossover with some serious geekdom.

For example, the upcoming [Warcraft](movie:477059) movie adaptation recently unveiled its stall for the convention which included the first look at the new logo and, presumably, some props from the film. According to IGN, what we see here is the Doomhammer, Dragon Sword and Lion Shield. Check them out below:

From what we can see, the props do seem to capture the slightly exaggerated, almost 'cartoony' aesthetic of the games, but it will be interesting to see how much this carries over to the actual film.

Duncan Jones, the director of Moon and Source Code, is helming the project, while he also wrote the screenplay with Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond). So far, we know Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger), Travis Fimmel (Vikings), Ben Foster (X-Men: The Last Stand), and Paula Patton (Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol) are all set to star in the motion picture adaptation.

Currently, Warcraft is expected to hit theaters on March 11, 2016.
