Arrow is a show that got better as it went on. I don't consider the show perfect but I actually enjoy it. Season 1 was decent but a large majority of it was spent on boring unneeded drama, unlikable idiot characters, and not enough focus on Oliver. Season 2 fixed a lot of these problems but created more problems to replace those: every female character (except Felicity Smoak) is an unlikable idiot or cannot act of their life. Both if you're talking about Caity Lotz's Canary...ugh...check out my review on Season 2 to see the rest of the problems.

At first I was kind of annoyed with Season 3's trailer just recapped all of Season 2's finale until about halfway when I saw the rest. What was my reaction? HELL YES!

First we see...Oh? Ray Palmer? He's trying to partner with Queen Consolidated thus setting up the Atom as a friend and future team member? SWEET! Brandon Routh is a good actor, I know people are still burned by that crap known as Superman Returns but...Routh was not the problem with that movie. In fact if they had given Routh something to do and made a good movie, he could still be Superman today...maybe.

We also see that he plans to rename Starling City into...STAR CITY?!?

You know I was wondering when they would use the actual name of the city.

But...we also see the return of a character: Canary...

Oh, give me a break! Why? Why has she returned? Didn't she say at the end of Season 2 that she was going to go back to the League of Assassins, finally getting her away from this show? Oh let me guess, you couldn't find another hot chick to take her spot? Well if you're going to bring her back then I have one little request: KILL HER OFF, PLEASE! Introduce the real Canary AKA Dinah Lance the awesome Irish heroine. Oh wait, you can't because you made Dinah her mother, you idiots! Sorry, I hate what they did to this character.

Luckily we got some other good things, it looks like a romance between Oliver and Felicity is brewing...FINALLY! You just now get it that these two would make the only good couple in this show. Well better late than never. Although there was one shot that had me nervous:

Oh, no! No, no, no, no, no, no! NO! You do not get to kill off the one character who you write perfectly! I'll say this right now, if Felicity dies then I will given Season 3 a worse rating than Season 2, maybe even worse than the Season 1 rating.

Looks like Peter Stormare is in the show as...Peter Stormare in every single role he does. I like the actor but he always plays the same roles.

Looks like we're going to get Waller as the main antagonist for the flashbacks in China...I really could care less since the actress who plays Waller is so over the top that Michael Sheen from Twilight would tell her to lay off on the camp.

Roy finally gets an Arsenal suit. YES!

It's about time. I hope he doesn't spend the whole season whining about that whiny little brat Thea because...well we've already had enough build up to Arsenal. Just make him the awesome hero he's supposed to be.

Seems like Lance has been promoted to a Captain. Cool, the guy deserves it. I'm glad he's not dead...but knowing this show he'll probably be dead by the end of the season.

My favorite part however comes at the very end when Arrow says the line in rage, "You have failed this city!" Then punches the camera. That...was pretty freaking cool.

Overall I'm really looking forward to Season 3, hopefully they fixed the problems and made the show more of a superhero show and not a post traumatic drama show. I'm more looking forward to The Flash than I am Arrow though.

What are your thoughts on the trailer? Do you think Season 3 will be even better or will it be more like Season 1? Let me know down below in the comments!
