An Evil Jester was on the lose yesterday in San Diego, hiding the identity of a very well known director... Peter Jackson.

After a disappointing no show last year from the Oscar winning director due to filming the Hobbit, fans were ecstatic to hear that he would be in attendance for this years panel. However, some may have got closer to him than they think.

Obviously keen to make up for last year, Jackson experienced this years Comic-Con first hand, dressed as an Evil Jester!

Unbeknownst to Hobbit fans, Jackson walked among them soaking in the experience that can only be had by walking through the surging crowds and feeling the excitement of thousands of fans!

He revealed his identity by posting a short message and pictures of himself before and during the event to his official facebook page.

I had a fun day at Comic Con walking among you all. Did anyone see the Evil Jester? Some of you did because you asked him to pose for pics! Cheers, Peter J
