Since their brief split in 2013, speculation about Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult's relationship has been rife, but now things have reached fever pitch thanks to a suspicious sighting.
Hoult was spotted cozying up to his [Mad Max: Fury Road](movie:41445) co-star, Riley Keough, at a No.8's Philo Prom party in New York City on Wednesday. Whereas this isn't too much on its own, Keough and Hoult were rumored to have hooked up during the British actors split from JLaw last year.
The 24-year-old [Warm Bodies](movie:203071) actor and Elivis Presley's 25-year old granddaughter attended the Met Gala together during Hoult's 2013 split from Lawrence and they were subsequently spotted roaming Soho together the following day. Needless to say, the rumors of a quick fling exploded.
According to an insider source who attended the event that might not have been the end of this pair flirtation though. He explained that;
They (Keough and Hoult) were sitting arm-in-arm in a booth with Adam Lambert and Charl Brown
Other sources also clarified that the pair "looked cozy", although Hoult was chatting with "a bunch of other girls".
Lawrence and Hoult have been in a long distance relationship since finishing work on [X-Men: Days Of Future Past](movie:203942) which is said to be putting strain on the young couple.
In an interview with Marie Clare in May, Lawrence seemed a lot more optimistic about their transatlantic romance though. She told interviewers that she and Hoult made it work by;
When we’re busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other. Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn't text back or call. Life’s super-busy. Obviously you know what they’re doing, and you trust them. We’re so young that it would almost be like if we lived in the same city, what would happen? We’d be living together. At least this way he’s in the same boat as I am: We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other
Do you think Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are really breaking up?
