After appearing at Comic-Con and a number of Samsung screens across the globe, the teaser trailer for (deep breath) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 has touched down online showing that whilst the games might be over for Katniss, the war is just beginning.

Going rather light on our lead heroine, instead the teaser focusses on those around her and the possible doubt of whether the two-time Hunger Games winner can actually lead the rebellion against the tyrannical President Snow. As Katniss umm’s and ahh’s over her options, Panem’s district are forced to face the music of the Capitol, who are taking down any that try and stand against them.

Here we see the late Phillip Seymour-Hoffman return as games maker turncoat, Plutarch Heavensbee as he tries to persuade Julianne Moore’s Alma Coin, the leader of District 13 over using Katniss in the revolution. There’s also glimpses of Natalie Dormer’s Cressida and old flame of Katniss’, Gabe Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth). One fella missing from the preview though is Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) who has been seen standing with Snow in some of the artwork before the trailers arrival. Has our favourite bakers boy turned on his lady-friend? Or can he be brought back to fight against the resistance. You’ll have to wait until November 1 to find out.
