It has already been three days since Hall H was filled will screaming fans at SDCC 2014. It has already been three full days since Marvel Studios debuted the official teaser for [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) to the lucky few. And still not one clip, not one snippet, not one bar has been leaked online of the chilling teaser. You all had one job, and you dropped the ball on that! It's all good though, I'm not complaining, are you? I mean, why should we? Marvel has never disappointed us before, and I'm sure they know what they are doing, right?
Leading up to the epic moment, they released character posters - that when pieced together - created probably the best movie poster I have seen in a while. We got a very detailed description of the teaser.
And, even though I STILL don't have the actual teaser for you (and believe me I've been hunting it down), I do have another leak for you.
It has been speculated that this is one of Ultron's drones. While the similarities are there, I beg to differ. If you look closely at one of the many drones surrounding the Avengers, their "faces" are slightly different - except for the mouth area which is completely different. In the image above, it is more defined, and is honestly very close in comparison to another incarnation of the advanced robot. If you really want to hit it on the nose, don't you think this crop looks more like?
Actually, I think it looks exactly like this image. The shape of the head, the eyes, the mouth, even the chest area! I think this might be our actual first look at Ultron. I'm going to go out on a limb, and bet my Iron Man lunch box, that this could in fact be the design of Ultron. If it is, I'm digging it. I like it a lot. It is simple but looks threatening. Now, it might not be his final form, but this could be one of his upgrades from the Frankenstein creation that crashed the Avenger's party. I STILL can't believe we won't see the footage any time soon! Oh well.
If it is just one of his drones, then what would Ultron look like? The image released on Entertainment Weekly's cover page did look promising, however the drones in that picture and the one above are different too.
Now I'm not sure if any of you lucky Mutha #%!$^&$ who got to see the footage can confirm you saw Ultron in final form, but if you did, speak up! Us commoners would like to know!
Avengers: Age of Ultron drops May 1, 2015.
