All the buzz about Marvel and DC's Cinematic Universes, and Universal's plans for one, have put me in a frenzy of thinking of other Cinematic Universes that could, and should, be done. I'll start with:

The Greek Mythology Cinematic Universe

*Note: This may slightly stray from mythology. Bear with me.* This would gather Greek heroes and unite them all for an Argonauts story.

The Twelve Labors Of Hercules

This should focus on Hercules and his nephew Iolaus working through his twelve labors, and fighting the Nemean Lion, the Lernaean Hydra, the Stymphalian birds, kidnapping Cerberus, etc. At some point, Hercules should fight Thanatos for Admetus, another of his adventures.

The Odyssey

This should start after what would be the events of the Iliad, the Trojan War, and have Odysseus and his crew traveling back home and facing many obstacles on the way.

Bellerophon

This should focus on Bellerophon fighting the Chimera, and traveling to Olympus due to his large ego, and being knocked back to Earth by Zeus, swearing revenge.

Atalanta & Meleager

This would revolve around the release of the Calydonian Boar, the two heroes' pursuing it, and their relationship.

Theseus

This consists of Theseus entering the Labyrinth of Crete, where he defeats the Minotaur and meets Daedalus, who recounts the story of his son, Icarus' death.

The Legend of Perseus

This starts with Perseus' grandfather, Acrisius, being warned by an oracle that his grandson will someday kill him. In response, he locks his daughter Danae in a tower so she can never have a child, but she ends up visited by a god and impregnated, so she and her son Perseus are sent out to sea in a large chest. Perseus and Danae ended up on an island, where the king ended up sending Perseus after the head of the Gorgon Medusa, and he obliged. Perseus got assistance from the gods Hermes and Athena, who gave him tools and instructions with which to defeat Medusa. On his way back from slaying Medusa, he meets and rescues and marries Princess Andromeda, then they return to the island, where Perseus ends up angrily petrifying the king with the head of Medusa.

The Argonauts

The evil Pelias has taken over the throne of Iolcus, and is killing the descendants of Aeolus, except for his half-brother Aeson, who he simply throws in a prison. In the prison, a woman bears Aeson a son, Jason. Pelias prepares to kill Jason, but his parents fake his death, and send him to Mount Pelion, where he is trained by Chiron, the centaur. After returning to Iolcus at age 20, Jason is tricked into pursuing the Golden Fleece, and he has Argus build him a ship. He then recruits an entire crew of heroes; Hercules, Perseus, Theseus, Admetus, Meleager, Atalanta, Odysseus, Bellerophon, and several others.
