Some might argue that the ship has kind of sailed on the Hitman gaming franchise. Sure, it's still officially going, but its been a pretty long time since I can remember anyone getting particularly excited by the bald-headed badass.

However, it seems 20th Century Fox still thinks there's some money to be made in another big screen adventure for for the character in [Hitman: Agent 47](movie:593267). The studio has just released a new batch of images showing off their rebooted, recast video-game adaptation. This time round we have Rupert Friend as Agent 47, while Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Thomas Kretschmann, Dan Bakkedahl and Ciaran Hinds also star. Check out the images below:

Based on the top-selling, award-winning videogame franchise, "Agent 47" is an all-new motion picture about an elite and genetically engineered assassin, known only by the last two digits – 47 – of a barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. His latest target is a young woman on the run from powerful and clandestine forces. The mission brings startling revelations about the lethal agent and his prey, hurtling them on a collision course with their pasts. And this time, his number may be up.

As you can see, Hitman: Agent 47 is still has the whole black suit, red tie motiff going on from the video game. However, will this film actually involve some more stealthy moments and piano wire? From the looks of the pictures, probably not...

Hitman: Agent 47 arrives in theaters on February 27, 2015.

Do we really need another Hitman movie?
