Of all the things to discuss about the Turtles content we've seen so far, it's the purist fanboys moaning about the reboot that've gotten the most attention.
Yep, Michael Bay and Jonathan Liebesman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot hasn't had an easy time convincing fans to embrace its existence - partially based on the fact that they've made some pretty big changes to the source material, like the Turtles' humanoid appearance and their created-in-a-lab origin story - but a fair number of people, myself included, are starting to come around.
Some people have already got to see the full glory of heroes in a half-shell Raphael, Donnatello, Leonardo, and Michaelangelo. And just check out this host of early positive reviews, exclaiming that the movie is going to be, well, surprisingly awesome:
Many children of the '80s remain warily on the fence about this live-action reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but not this lot! Visually, this movie is looking pretty solid...although that's not to say that every design choice will be universally loved.
