The If I Were Stine Tumblr site is an example of doing one thing and doing it well. It takes classic horror movies and gives them the R.L. Stine Goosebumps treatment. At least the covers that is.

Stine's kid-eccentric Horror novels have creeped out and turned on generations to the scares and joys of a good fright. Most of these homages are pretty clever, turning the scariest of horror plots into something almost tolerable that most kids wont get severe nightmares over.
