Potentional Spoilers as we talk about Stan Lee's cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Xandar: Home to the Nova Corps

I was very surprised to see the famous Stan Lee have a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy. As several sources, including movie pilot and IGN reported that he would not make an appearance. However, we did end up seeing him on the planet of Xandar as Rocket, voiced by Bradley Copper, was scanning the crowd.

We see Stan Lee obviously flirting with an alien girl. Rocket makes several remarks about this, including my personal favorite "Old man, does your wife know where you are?" Like most of the movie, Lee's cameo had a comedic quality, as it does in most Marvel films.

To me this is one of my favorite cameos he has made right behind The Amazing Spider-man and The Incredible Hulk. It shows even though Stan Lee didn't have a hand in creating these characters he is still the face everyone associates with Marvel, and it just isn't the same without the Stan Hunt (patent pending). What is also special about this cameo is not only is it part of the Stan Hunt, but it gives us our first taste of Bradley Cooper's Rocket. In all, I was pleasantly surprised to see Stan Lee in the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Which Stan Hunt was your favorite?
