This week, Guardians of the Galaxy was released, and the crowd went wild over Chris Pratt as Star-Lord and his crew of misfit aliens out to save the planet (not our planet, but still!).

Pratt has already built a fanbase through his roles in Parks and Rec (along with the other thirty-four projects he has been involved in), but you just know that Guardians is going to take it to a whole new level. In honor of that, and in the grand tradition of nerdy fandoms, we have decided that we need to get ourselves an official name, and this was what we came up with:

Of course, this sparked much discussion, not least about the other fandom names. Whovian is so entrenched in the language that it is was actually added to the Oxford English Dictionary, and I wouldn't be surprised if Potterheads followed. We've got Sherlockians, Ringers (or Ringnuts), Trekkies, SuperWhoLokians (for those greedy fans of everything!), Cumberbitches, Hiddlestoners, and don't even get me started on why on earth Supernatural fans aren't calling themselves Wayward Sons yet.

Pratt Pack may have won out (pass it on!), but that doesn't mean that there were no other suggestions...

Other suggestions included Pratt-Ats (for the Star Wars crossover), Prattfalls (which works only if we are all really clumsy, or really into slapstick), and Prattlers, but before we could come up with any more, it descended into an effort to make every possible Pratt-related pun...(moviepilot is not responsible for any eye-roll-related injury while reading the following tweets.)

Chris Pratt himself (or whoever runs his Twitter, if he's one of those celebrities who hires someone) didn't join in the conversation, but I'm positive that is only because he was either a) laughing too hard or b) running off to his publicist to make it official. Obviously.

What do you think? Do you have a better idea, or are you already a committed member of the Pratt Pack? Comment and let me know, but here at Moviepilot, we've pretty much made up our minds...
