While at times slightly puzzling, this striking Thai film is an indescribable artistic experience…and I loved it. A dying man contemplates his life (and past lives) whilst being visited by the spirits of his dead family and friends. It’s an exquisitely bizarre existential meditation, which requires multiple viewings. A must for spiritualists/practitioners and fans of Eastern cinema. Winner of 2010s Palme d’Or at Cannes.
