This story begins with a severed hand. It was found in the Manatee, FL.

Police fingerprinted the grisly find - successfully. It came from Willie Suttle, 70, who had died earlier that year (1997).

It gets creepier. The police were freaked out, and exhumed Willie's body to try to make sense of the severed hand floating in the river.

What they found was totally chilling.

Willie's internal organs had been removed and replaced with tiny fabric voodoo dolls.

The small fabric dolls had been stitched inside the abdominal cavity, alongside handwritten curses...

Be gone and may you rot in your grave, one said.

Police realized there were curses directed at every funeral home in the area - except one. - Green's Funeral Home.

There, cops interviewed Paula Green-Albritton - an unlicensed embalmer.

Albritton was charged with mutilating a corpse, but was released on a technicality.

She claimed her rituals were meant for good, but voodoo expert Rafael Martinez testified against her, claiming her curses were 'some type of black or malevolent magic'...
