With the success of Gravity, Sandra Bullock walked away with $51 million between June 2013 and June 2014 making her the highest-paid actress in the 12 month period.

Gravity went on to gross $716 million worldwide and won seven Oscars. Although Bullock was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role, she lost to actress Cate Blanchett.

Jennifer Lawrence came in second with $34 million thanks to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
