The Horror Honeys

I don't like poop. I also don't like vomit. I also don't like the fact that my precious Canadian tax dollars went to the creation of a film that features vomit and poop in the same vicinity.. But hey, hooray for arts funding...

The story [edited for my own amusement] A sewage worker, "The Septic Man" gets trapped inside a septic tank during a water contamination crisis and begins to transform into a sewer demon, because, that's what happens in septic tanks. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that septic tanks aren't that big....but then again, I haven't been into a metropolitan septic tank before. *bucket list* To escape, the newly transformed Septic Man must team up with a docile Giant and confront the murdering madman known as Lord Auch - does this sound like it should be a dream sequence or something to you? There's also a baby being born, and some seriously heinously amazing looking FX work...is this what The Toxic Avenger SHOULD have been?

Brought to you by the folks responsible for Pontypool (which was awesome and heinously underrated), and Monster Brawl (which was not awesome), Septic Man stars Jason Brown, Molly Dunsworth, Robert Maillet, Julian Richings, Nicole G. Leier, and Tim Burd.

What do YOU think of this trailer? Are you as grossed out as I am, or is this what you're looking for in a horror film?

Septic Man will be available on VOD August 12th and will also be running (ha) in limited theatres August 15th and on DVD August 19th.
