Hey Moviepilot! Today I'm counting down my top 10 must see films of 2015. 2014's been great, but I can't wait for next summer!

10. Jurassic World

  Long time, no sequel
Long time, no sequel

It'll have been 14 years since the last Jurassic Park film and 22 years since the first one. I'm interested to see if this film is worth the wait, considering the first film was amazing. Plus it has Chris Pratt in it! I'm so there! Bummer there isn't any plot details released so far.

Director: Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed)

Cast: Chris Pratt, Judy Greer, Bryce Dallas, & Jake Johnson

Release Date: June 12th

9. Terminator: Genisys

  I said I'd be back
I said I'd be back

This another one of those sequels to old classics. This is supposed to have a Back to the Future-esqe vibe so that'll be interesting. Plus it's been 12 years since we've seen ol' Arny as the Terminator. No plot details revealed yet.

Director: Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World)

Cast: Emilia Clarke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jai Courtney, & Jason Clarke

Release Date: July 1st

8. Pixels

  Not Ghostbusters 3?
Not Ghostbusters 3?

This film is one of the only original films on this list. In a Hollywood where films are all either sequels, prequels or spin-offs, it's great to get a taste of original stuff. Pixels is about three video game experts who are recruited by the military to fight against 1980's-era video game characters who've attacked New York. (The President is, of course, Kevin James.) For some reason, it reminds you of Ghostbusters, admit it.

Director: Chris Columbus (Harry Potter & the Sorcerer's Stone)

Cast: Peter Dinklage, Adam Sandler, Michelle Monaghan, & Ashley Benson

Release Date: May 15th

7. Ant-Man

Marvel's second release of next year takes my number seven spot. I'm not totally convinced this film is gonna be in my top 10 best of the year, but I've been wrong before. The film follows a scientist who enlists a thief to safeguard his size-changing technology, and also to create a superhero who will defend the world.

Director: Peyton Reed (Bring it On)

Cast: Evangeline Lily, Corey Stoll, Paul Rudd, and Michael Douglas

Release Date: July 17th

6. Star Wars: Episode VII

JJ Abrams presents Star Trek 3, er, Star Wars 7...
JJ Abrams presents Star Trek 3, er, Star Wars 7...

This one is rather sketchy. I'm totally excited to see another Star Wars, but with the original cast? It's gonna be really cool and I know it won't focus on them, but I'm a little skeptical. All we know so far is that it takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi. Here's to hoping...

Director: JJ Abrams (Star Trek)

Cast: Andy Serkis, Gwendoline Christie, Harrison Ford, & Mark Hamill

Release Date: December 18th

5. Fast & Furious 7

  RIP Paul Walker
RIP Paul Walker

I'm incredibly excited for this one! The end of Furious 6 left us on a cliffhanger and brought the entire Fast franchise full circle (try saying that 5 times fast.) The film follows Ian Shaw as he seeks revenge on Dom Toretto & company for the death of his brother from Fast 6. Although it will be sad to see Paul Walker's last film, it'll be an awesome one.

Director: James Wan (Saw)

Cast: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham

Release Date: April 3rd

4. Assassin's Creed

  Altair or Ezio? Maybe Connor?
Altair or Ezio? Maybe Connor?

This one has been in production for awhile and has run into some problems recently, but they have states production will continue! The premise is a bartender is captured by a large corporation and is forced into a machine, named "The Animus", allowing him to relive the memories of his ancestors--Most of whom are Assassins-- to retrieve powerful and dangerous artifacts. Michael Fassbender will be producing.

Director: Justin Kurzel (The Snowtown Murders)

Cast: Michael Fassbender

Release Date: August 7th

3. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2

  Cue the music
Cue the music

I haven't seen Mockingjay - Part 1 yet and I already can't wait for the final film! The IMDb description states that After being symbolized as the "Mockingjay" Katniss Everdeen and District 13 engage in an all out revolution with the Capitol.

Director: Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire)

Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, & Woody Harrelson

Release Date: November 20th

2. Pitch Perfect 2

  Pitch slap
Pitch slap

This one is one i am dying to see. I loved the first one so I'm totally going to see this one. The sequel follows Beca & Fat Amy as they go through their senior year of college.

Director: Elizabeth Banks (Movie 43)

Cast: Anna Kendrick, Alexis Knapp, Elizabeth Banks, & Hailee Steinfeld

Release Date: May 15th

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron

Holy Crap!! Is it May 1st yet?!?
Holy Crap!! Is it May 1st yet?!?

This one is hands down my number one pick! I love Marvel and what they're doing. Also the first movie was incredible! The stakes are higher & the tone is darker & I can't wait! The Avengers reassemble to battle the sentient robot known as Ultron.

Director: Joss Whedon (The Avengers)

Cast: Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chris Evans, & Elizabeth Olsen

Okay more than that! Andy Serkis, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr, Cobie Smulders, Hayley Atwell, James Spader, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Stan Lee, Paul Bettany, and the list of a-listers goes on!

I hope you enjoyed my list. Comment down below which films you are excited for!
