In between seasons, Game of Thrones fans tend to tone down the excitement and try very hard to forget the last curve-ball thrown by George RR Martin. I still get a headache whenever I think about The Mountain and the Viper episode. Get it? Headache?

However, Allison Chase, an incredible make up artist and devoted fan of [Game of Thrones](movie:817617), has not subsided her love for the acclaimed TV series. In fact, she was so inspired by its characters and the houses they belong to that she took her make up brushes and used her models faces as canvases for her Westeros art.

Allison Chase, from New Zealand, has done make up for theater, TV, film and photo shoots and can provide an amazing variety of character looks. The girl is incredibly talented. For this photo shoot, by photographer Matt Barnes, Chase focused on representing the character of each House, or clan, from Game of Thrones.

With models, whose features resemble quite well those of the characters, and a make up look that isn't overbearing, Chase successfully demonstrates the golden arrogance of the Lannisters, the cold gray tones of the North (the Starks), and the fiery power of the Targaryens.

There is no denying Chase's take on Game of Thrones is stylish and artistic. Check out her blog and Facebook page for more pictures of the Game of Thrones photo shoot and other amazing projects.
