Justin Bieber has taken a break from being a colossal pimple on the face of humanity to Facetime 17-year-old Pakistani educational activist, Malala Yousafzai.

Yousafzai's name echoed around the world media in 2012 when she was targeted and shot in the head by the Taliban for daring to voice her opinion that girls in her native country should be entitled to an education. She was just 15-years-old at the time.

Like a huge proportion of other 17-year-old girls out there, Malala seemed to be delighted to speak to 20-year-old Bieber and the Canadian singer hinted that he would be meeting her in person and supporting her charity.

He captioned the image below with the following;

Just got to FaceTime with Malala Yousafzai. She has such an incredible story. I can't wait to meet her in person and talk about how I can support her and the @malalafund.

Despite how much I rip on Bieber on an almost daily basis, the star is actually a rather charitable figure, especially for someone in his tender young age bracket.

According to The Daily Mail, Justin Bieber regularly lends his enormous starpower, and his even more impressive wallet, to over 16 charities worldwide.

Maybe there's hope for him yet!
