Guardians Of The Galaxy is one of the biggest releases of 2014, but that didn't stop one cinema getting it horribly, horribly wrong...

As the lights dimmed and popcorn was being munched, instead of Guardians of the Galaxy blasting onto the screen, at some Regal cinemas someone royally screwed up and started playing the 2012 animated film Rise of the Guardians.

Good one, guys!

Naturally in a full theater in 2014 there were some voracious Twitter users on hand to live tweet the event, which is a good thing for us, but unfortunately not for them because then it happened AGAIN...

AND AGAIN...

Finally the cinema gave in to their technical difficulties and offered refunds and posters to the Guardians fans...Probably for the best.

But if there was any silver lining to this fiasco, I'm sure someone learned a very valuable lesson about labeling things correctly!

Would you be mad if the cinema had shown you Rise of the Guardians when you'd paid to see Guardians of the Galaxy?
