If you haven't yet heard of Con-TV, you likely soon will. The new network from Cinedigm plans to bring the epic nerd-centric culture of SDCC to your home via a direct-to-consumer, streaming network. While the network plans to offer a broad array of programming, they are going for the gooey gold right out of the gate. he network has officially announced its first original series via Alpine Labs: the hybrid reality show Fight of the Living Dead!

If you're wondering what a zombie reality show would actually entail, the show's creators have summed it up for you:

[Fight of the Living Dead is] an unprecedented mash-up of the reality and scripted genres [that] follows nine top YouTube stars as they attempt to survive the first 24 hours of a simulated zombie apocalypse.

Con-TV will launch toward the end of 2014 and hopes to add more original series before that time. They will also air many of the shows, panels, and movies that are part of the Cinedigm library.
