The cable network, USA, announced this week that they have renewed Suits for a 5th season.

Season 5 will premiere in Summer 2015 and will go for 16 episodes. The current series of the legal drama averages around 4 million viewers per episode, with 1.6 million of those in the 18-49 demographic.

In a statement, network president Chris McCumber says:

"'Suits' continues to fire on all cylinders, delivering provocative storytelling and complex characters that viewers can't get enough of, with some of the best writing on television, and a brilliant ensemble cast, we anticipate a spectacular fifth season for a series that has become a marquee property for USA."

The current season's summer finale is set for August 20, with the remaining episodes due early next year.
