Outside of The Big Three (Han, Leia, and Luke), the number one confirmed "cast member" of [Star Wars: Episode VII](movie:711158) Star Wars: Episode VIII that I've been excited to see is everyone's favorite rustbucket -- the Millennium Falcon. Today, french site Mintinbox made my inner scruffy nerfherder rejoice with these incredible leaks of the Falcon's interior. While these are still unconfirmed, they also look far too detailed to cast a lot of doubt.
Upon first look, she doesn't seem too shabby for her age! The ship has essentially not changed from what we can see (really, Han? No new seats? This interior's gotta be from a long, long time ago) but I've got a hunch that her crew has upgraded quite a bit.
What I'm hoping for in the Falcon is what one can hope for when they fix up their mom's '91 Miata -- a classic yet dangerous ride with new tricks.
Another fun little leak: the hallway interior to what looks to be a space station or ship. This interior screams Imperial to me. I have a feeling that this may be the base of operations for our rumored Jedi Hunters, who are apparently Sith fanboys and girls that wish to reinstate the chaos that was the Imperial rule. Anyway, take a look:
I may be totally wrong and massively lacking in coffee, so feel free to take your guesses on this particular hallway (or correct me if I'm totally wrong in thinking this isn't part of the Falcon), but it certainly doesn't look like the Falcon interior to me.
Either way, these photos surfaced at a great time, and I'm giddier than Darth Vader on Take Your Child to Work Day. Well, okay, that's a terrible analogy, but I'm really, really excited.
