The word is out! We're going to have a fifth installment of the Terminator franchise. The cast is picked out with well known actors and actresses. Obviously Schwarzenegger reprising the role as the Terminator, Emilia Clarke(Game of Thrones) as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as John Connor, Jai Courtney (Divergent) as Kyle Reese and Matt Smith (Doctor Who)... but we don't know who he will play... yet. Maybe he will be the scientist who will introduce the time machine, so that Kyle Reese will go back in time to stop the Terminator from killing Sarah Connor. I mean it would make sense. He did play a well-known Time Lord. Hey, maybe we'll get a "Doctor Who" Easter Egg thrown in there to attract the Whovians, like wearing a "fez" and saying how "cool" it is.
Speaking of "cool" I thought it would be cool to talk about Arnie's role in this movie. The plot hasn't been leaked yet, so why not guess what's going to happen in the film. Yes, he is going to be "The Terminator", but what if they went a different direction. What if Arnold plays a military figure that helps John Connor in the Sky Net War. With this in mind, he will play the good Terminator from the second and third films, but in human form. He will be well trained and even know the ins and outs from the machines. He will even work closely with Matt Smith's character(if he be the scientist who introduces time travel to John Connor). Then suddenly Schwarzenegger is captured by the machines to gain information about the time machine that Arnold learned from Smith. Once the machines get their information, they transform Arnold into a stronger Terminator, programmed to kill Sarah Connor in the past. Thus making the future and past in motion as John Connor decides to send Kyle Reese to stop the Terminator from changing the future.
What do you think? Will this be a neat twist in the "Terminator" franchise? What do you think will happen in this movie?
