For a while now, we have been lucky enough to see a number of photos of both Batman and Superman. However, we are still being kept in the dark regarding Jesse Eisenberg's official Lex Luthor look and plot line.

While we may not know these details for a while, GeekTyrant has shared some new tips they recieved from an extra from [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870). Let’s keep in mind that there is no way to confirm any of this information, so it should therefore be treated as a rumor.

If any of this is true, major spoilers ahead! Scroll down with caution!

The extra, who reportedly worked on the set for ten days, said that the film starts with a battle between Superman and General Zod ending (or as it has just ended). The source stated:

"One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite, and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten ahold of General Zod’s body."

Badass Digest went on to report:

"I can confirm this. Lex has been gathering pieces and debris from the World Engine and he has used them to synthesize Kryptonite. Meanwhile he has also gotten ahold of Zod’s corpse, and it is the key to his master plan to defeat Superman. He uses that tissue to… well, that would be spoiling. But Superman hasn’t been defeated many times in the past. You can probably connect the dots from here."

Any guesses on what they're planning on using Zod's tissue for? People have been making some strong cases for (click through if you really want to know).

The plot twist does seem possible, but it might also just be more fuel added to the BvS hype fire. Furthermore, the author of the fake leaked BvS script, SonofArrogance, has taken credit for writing the same storyline for Luthor and disapproved saying that it's an "easy route" for the story to take.

What do you guys think about these rumors?
