Fans of Martin Scorsese's The Departed, and Andrew Lau and Alan Mak's Infernal Affairs series, on which it was based, are in for a real treat: Revenge Of The Green Dragons, directed by Lau, and executive-produced by Scorsese, is well on its way, and has a brand new trailer...

The story - adapted from Frederick Dannen’s New Yorker article - follows two brothers who join Chinatown's Green Dragons gang, and find themselves on opposite sides of the law when one of them turns against the organization.

So The Departed, but with added Shakespearean tragedy, basically.

Crucially, though, the film comes with some seriously heavyweight backing in the form of Scorsese, and an accomplished director in Lau. Add in Ray Liotta, Twilight's Justin Chon and Glee's Harry Shum, Jr., and you've got a whole lot more going for the film than your average workaday action-thriller.

[Revenge Of The Green Dragons](movie:864389) will be exclusively available on DirecTV from September 11, 2014.
