Whatever you think of Quentin Tarantino, you can\ fault him on ambition.

The legendary director is on his 8th film, entitled The Hateful Eight. Earlier this year he threw a well publicised hissy fit after a draft of the script was leaked online, leading him to shelve the project entirely.

Since then, he's done a complete 180 and restarted production on the Western, which promises to be just as violent, explosive and sexy as Django Unchained.

Note the word: promises. Tarantino hasn't begun filming this yet, and probably won't until early 2015.

It's rather interesting to learn, then, that the director is planning to release a teaser trailer in cinemas next friday. The trailer will screen before Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, and it's said to be 1:47 long.

So, in other words, it'll be an almost 2 minute segment about a film that hasn't been produced featuring no footage of the final product. Riiight.

But this being Tarantino, I'm sure he's got something up his sleeve.

Personally, I'm hoping for 1:47 of this:
