There has been a lot of speculation about the hopeful Deadpool movie, and I for one thought maybe this could be a good idea.
I've recently purchased the Deadpool video game and find it both amusing and satisfying to the see the Merc with a Mouth in action outside of the comics. I think it would be great for them to set it up sort of like the game.
For those of your who haven't played the game, here's the basic plot: [Deadpool](movie:38663) corners a video game producer and basically forces him into making a Deadpool game. The game starts out with the Merc sitting in his livingroom when he gets a call from the producer telling him the game idea was approved (after Deadpool blew up some buildings of course). Naturally ole Deadpool knows he's currently in the video game so he and those wonderful voices in his head talk to the player constantly.
I like the idea of this for the movie. Obviously Deadpool is going to know he's in a movie, so why not make it like he's making his own movie? I'm not talking about some Blair Witch Project type of directing, but have him talk to the camera and talk about the studio (which he does in the game, often criticizing the video game producers for things within the game.)
Anything, I think, would beat that superfreak Fox gave us in X-men Origins, who sort of looked like Baraka from Mortal Kombat.
That's just the opinion of one man. If you have some other ideas of how it should be set up, leave a comment! I'd love to hear theories! Oh! And thanks for reading!
