Following her Rita Skeeter gossip column on the Quidditch World Cup from last month, J.K. Rowling surprises Potter fans with another charming story! This time, Rowling introduces us to Celestina Warbeck, a magical songstress famously known as the Singing Sorceress. Warbeck, who is Molly Weasley's favorite singer, is known for belting out hits such as "A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love" and "You Charmed the Heart Right Out of Me." As a half-blood, the songstress was born to a muggle mother and wizard father and attended the world renown Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a Gryffindor.

Rowling herself states that the Singing Sorceress is "one of [her] favourite 'off-stage' characters in the Harry Potter series, and has been part of the Potter world ever since its inception...[she] always imagined [Warbeck] to resemble Shirley Bassey in both looks and style."

Watch Celestina and her Backup Banshees' performance of “You Stole My Cauldron, but You can’t Have My Heart" at Universal Studios Florida's new Diagon Alley below! (not the best quality, but you get the point!)

You can check out Warbeck's biography in the Floo Powder section of Pottermore or you can click here if you have yet to register for Pottermore!
